IT Support Coordinator, BBC Studioworks
This is an exciting opportunity to join BBC Studioworks on a 12 month contract where you will be required to assist and support the Business Systems Team in various projects and business related work. Business systems aim to deliver excellent customer service to our teams and monitors, actions and delivers requests raised by the business, proactively identifying problems and providing solutions.
The IT Support Coordinator provides the key link between operational business requirements and IT.
You will be the first line support for BBC Studioworks teams and problem solving for business applications (currently Xytech’s Media Pulse, and various business databases and servers) as well as managing and controlling Desktop Technology and Telephony (desk phones and mobile devices).
You will manage and control user administration for SAP, Quick Order and the company intranet plus any other business databases and servers as well as managing IT assets across the company.
Other responsibilities include processing joiners, movers, and leavers data, liaising with 3rd party vendors and ensuring that external designers and suppliers have appropriately detailed and signed off processes and information requirements to develop software correctly ensuring operational acceptance.
You will help to develop and promote a culture and infrastructure supporting process.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be highly computer literate with strong IT skills, have good understanding of the operational processes and systems connected with a television or broadcast/production facilities business together with an understanding of data security and compliance.
You should have the proven ability to self-manage and prioritise in a pressurised environment with the ability to quickly identify and manage issues, finding the best path for resolution.
Grade: 5D (£26000-£39000)
Based London Elstree
12 month attachment/fixed term contract.
