HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is an internal consultant providing an enabling business support role. The role may be Specialist or Generalist in nature. The HRBP is a trusted partner and has a seat at the leadership table working on medium to longer term objectives.
This position is aligned to our Design & Engineering division.
Our HR Business Partner works within the wider team and draws on support from the centre of expertise and newly established HR Service Centre. The role is very much generalist with areas of specialism as and when required; is operationally driven but strategically aligned.
In this role, you will partner with senior management teams, providing expert HR knowledge and insight to support effective strategic and operational decision making. This role will work in partnership with the HR Director and the wider HR team, influencing the development of business strategy and translating it into a people plan that improves business performance and supports sensitive or high profile HR issues. You will seek to identify current and future needs of the division, offering a fresh perspective and approach to problem solving.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have experience of partnering with senior management teams in a generalist HR role with an excellent track record for building strong professional relationships and credibility across all levels of the organisation. You will have experience of applying best practice HR within a complex business environment. In addition, you will have experience of successfully leading a range of business enhancing projects in support of a wider HR strategy.
