Producer, Lambing Live 2014
LAMBING LIVE is returning to BBC TWO with a brand new series in Spring 2014. Presented by Kate Humble and Adam Henson, the series will combine live and documentary content, transmitting from an OB based at Scottish farm during lambing season. Kate’s continuing her journey learning how to be a shepherdess, while Countryfile’s Adam Henson is heading off to find out more about how sheep have made Britain great.
We are looking for a Producer/Director to work across a number of our key insert films. This is a great opportunity to work on the return of a much loved series, mixing live with observational documentary and beautifully crafted films, plus the life and death drama of the lambing season itself.
The role would be to deliver around five films made with Adam Henson, farmer and Countryfile presenter. These could range from a trip to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland to discover meet some sea shepherds, to a look at how the clearances changed Scottish farming forever. The idea is for these films to be informal and engaging whilst delivering plenty of content. Though the films should capture Adam’s natural presenting style, they should also be visually captivating, reflecting the diverse beauty of the British countryside. There would also be an opportunity for the right candidate to transfer onto an “on farm” film making role for the live shows.
