Production Management Assistant Talent Pool
Responsible for the smooth running of the production office,acting as a key point of contact on the production.
Responsible with editorial peers for ensuring compliance with BBC policies and guidelines, in order to minimise the BBC's exposure to risk. EScalates any issues promptly.
Provides administrative support for ensuring all necessary rights are acquired for the complete delivery of the production.
Supports the production management team using specialist skills, such as working in a studio, working on location, and for 3rd Assistant Directors, planning/co-ordinating background action and supporting the Assistant Director team.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate outstanding organisational and time management skills and be able to prioritise effectively to meet conflicting demands and tight deadlines. You'll also be an excellent communicator and be able to demonstrate an ability to work with numerous teams.
The ideal candidate will need to be able to demonstrate an aptitude for learning new systems and technologies, as well having business and finance skills in order to understand and work with budgets. An understanding of BBC systems is desirable but not essential.
We are looking for a pool of Production Management Assistants to work across our output. Joining our pool of successful candidates will enable you to be offered work as and when those opportunities arise during peak periods
The pool will be operational from April 2017 to April 2018.
Appointment to the pool will not entitle candidates to permanent contract in the BBC, those will have to be applied for in the normal way, and neither does it guarantee work.
