Job Introduction

BBC Children's is committed to offering the best cross-platform and on-demand service for all UK children, providing a trusted environment which is enriching, enabling and relevant to the under 12's. Our content seeks to entertain, inform and empower children, adding real value to their lives.

We are looking for Researchers for a brand new series Vet Tales.

Ferne and Rory’s Vet Tales is a brand new series featuring animal experts Ferne and Rory. They meet children from all over the UK with their pets that have a medical issue or condition that needs to be addressed, from a pregnant horse to an itchy dog. They learn what the situation is and spend time together at the vet’s to find out what the animal needs to make their condition better. Ferne and Rory want to help children understand that, just like us, animals get sick and can need a little help from experts. Each episode will feature a child and their pet that needs help and/or advice from a vet. In addition, this series will highlight the scope of a vet’s work and offer a wide range of exciting and heart-warming animal stories. We’ll meet both large and small cases as our vets get to work helping a whole host of animals to feel better.
