The Web Developer will be a key member of a vibrant agile development team looking to turn great ideas into engaging web products while maintaining and improving existing codebases.
Accountable for building and supporting high performance websites and web applications (either B2C or B2B) The Web Developer will be a key member of a vibrant agile development team looking to turn great ideas into engaging web products while maintaining and improving existing codebases.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Web Developer with a broad knowledge of JS, HTML5 and CSS. The candidate will work closely with other front and back-end developers to deliver high-quality products adhering to appropriate BBC standards and processes.
The ideal candidate will have a real enthusiasm for writing clean, concise, testable code, along with a knowledge of all things responsive. Experience refactoring large scale applications would be desirable.
Salary: £33k- £45k (dependent on experience)
26 annual days leave (pro rata) plus the BBC will contribute up to 10% into our defined contribution pension scheme. We offer all employees a range of core and flexible benefits, from childcare to pensions, wine clubs to gym memberships.
