Welcome to Work Experience opportunities in London within Business & Support. If youâre interestedÂ in business, finance, research, broadcast technologyÂ andÂ getting some great practical experience on your CV, youâve come to the right place.
Every placement is different, but your Work Experience will give you a good all round overview of Business & SupportÂ across researching, publishing and using technology.
During your online application, you will have the opportunity to choose your placement and tell us about the things youâre really interested in.Â

What weâre looking for
We want people who are creative, keenÂ to learn and are up for a challenge. In Business & SupportÂ we work in teams where everyone has a role to play. Weâre looking for people who are friendly andÂ good communicators.
We work at a fast pace. So youâll need to be enthusiastic and motivated to keep up.
We take our jobs seriously and really enjoy what we do. If youâre passionate about Business & Support areas of the BBCÂ and are prepared to work hard, ask lots of questions and contribute ideas, youâll fit right in.
You donât need a media qualificationÂ to apply. You just need to be able to show us that youâre passionate about Business & Support areas of the BBCÂ and have a genuine desire to find out what the industry has to offer.

We have placements available in the following areas:
BBC Archive, London (August only - over 18)
An opportunity to learn about the work of our I&A teams and help us to digitise, archive and catalogue historic BBC programmes.
Media Action (over 18)
BBC Media Action is the International Development arm of BBC World Service.Â You'llÂ get the opportunity to help organise events, keep our records up to date, and assist with research and donor mapping. AllÂ in a busy internationally focused office with links around the BBC.
Eastenders - Press Office Runner - Drama - ElstreeÂ (over 18)
Helping with photoshoots, press inquiries and keeping the team up to date with what the newspapers are saying about the show. This placement is based on the same site as Albert Square and the Eastenders set.
