Business Coordinator (BBC Marketing & Audiences)

Job Introduction

BBC Marketing and Audiences are currently looking for a Business Coordinator to would work across our BBC Online services. This is a permanent position based at Broadcast Centre, London, W12.

The BBC Online marketing team is responsible for evolving and delivering brand and marketing strategies across the BBC products throughout their lifecycle in order to strengthen and maintain their position in the fiercely competitive entertainment marketplace.

Role Responsibility

As a Business Coordinator in this role, you will work within Marketing and Audiences but support activity across the BBC - all focused on ensuring the BBC’s online services (e.g. iPlayer, Sounds, Sport) are successful.

The role will work closely with the Marketing and Audiences Director responsible for BBC Online as well as their team and other senior leaders across the BBC to help deliver this work.

The Business Coordinator will support projects and working groups by providing general administration services and basic report production by providing and collating information as required. You will also co-ordinate business calendar activities to help monitor delivery, and also cascade information  to ensure effective communication flow. 

You will work effectively with key stakeholders ensuring business support services are delivered efficiently. You will also provide the management team with business support service including diary support, travel logistics and co-ordination of meetings.

Are you the right candidate?

The successful candidate will have proven organisational skills, natural attention to detail, a keen understanding of business procedures, as well as a proactive and helpful character.

Ideally, the Business Coordinator for Marketing & Audiences will have extensive experience of providing administrative support within a large organisation.

You will have examples of being proactive in identifying and raising issues and following through with suitable solutions. You will also have planning and organising skills with experience of prioritising your own workload effectively.

You will be able to coordinate activities and conflicting demands to tight deadlines and also possess strong written and verbal communication skills. The Business Coordinator will demonstrate a proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders in a collaborative way, and contributing in a positive way to the wider team.
