Role Responsibility

The Business and Resource Scheduling Co-ordinator will act as the first point of contact for all internal and external suppliers and deal with purchasing administration, queries and paperwork.  You will be responsible for freelance contracting – liaising with Senior Resource Schedulers, Resource Schedulers, H.R. and Freelancers on a daily basis to process and resolve any problems with their payments, including implementing the HMRC’s IR35 regulations.  You will source and purchase on behalf of the Operations staff, which will include, bespoke kit, wet weather gear, medical assessments, travel and hotel bookings, I.T. support/setting up accounts. 

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and must be able to handle multiple and often conflicting requests calmly and effectively.  Attention to detail is paramount, given the high numbers of orders and payments for freelancers we are required to process.  You will have the ability to deal assuredly, discreetly and tactfully with members of staff.  You will have effective communication skills, with the ability to work with a range of people at all levels.  Ability to use own initiative with minimal supervision and deal with routine queries as they arise escalating to others as necessary.  You will have proficient computer skills, with strong experience of SAP and office software packages (i.e. Word, Excel and Power point).
