Celebrity Liaison Manager (BBC Children in Need)

We are looking for a Celebrity Liaison Manager to join our team who has excellent experience, knowledge and contacts within the entertainment industry.

This role is offered as a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave - Salford or London.

Grade 6 - proposed Band C

Role Responsibility

As Celebrity Liaison Manager you will manage our portfolio of high profile supporters to ensure that the charitys key objectives are met. Central to this will be your ability to utilise Talent in innovative and creative ways, to raise awareness of the charity and the work that it does.

Working with the Head of PR & Communications you will help shape the communications strategy and plan, produce and implement a year round programme of celebrity activity for the charity. You will also work with internal stakeholders, devising and implementing plans to ensure that their needs are met through the creative use of Talent.

The role also includes line management of one post.

Are you the right candidate?

With demonstrable experience gained within a PR / communications, talent agency or charity environment, you will be a talent management professional, well-versed in booking and managing celebrities and campaigns.

In addition to your existing contacts with agents, publicists and artists, you will show your ability to influence and negotiate talent and resolve issues, particularly in relation to building long standing relationships.

You will possess strong organisational skills and experience of leading a team to organise high profile events/campaigns. Experience of supporting the development of communications strategy and subsequent delivery and implementation of strategy is required, along with your ability to generate creative ideas.

Stakeholder management expertise, both internal and external, is essential. This will be supported by your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to build and maintain working relationships across a range of stakeholders, colleagues and levels and of driving relationships towards supporting a shared goal.
