Content Producer, Scripted Development, BBC Children's InHouse Interactive

Job Introduction

This CP role sits within the InHouse Interactive Productions Team and will involve close work with the InHouse Drama Development team and BBC Children’s Core Interactive team (website and apps, YouTube, social media, digital development).

Role Responsibility

You’ll be producing and project managing the delivery of InHouse Interactive Productions content commissions around our scripted (drama) InHouse brands. You’ll look after a portfolio of commissioned content for In-House brands for all ages such as Wolfblood, Go Jetters, Swashbuckle and Danger Mouse. You’ll work closely with TV productions, core interactive, technical and design teams to ensure that our brands’ digital presence exceeds audience expectations, while delivering on BBC Children’s objectives.


The Ideal Candidate

You’ll have experience of working with scripted (drama) content, working with writers and creative teams as well as developing and researching pitches and ideas. You’ll have an understanding of content-making environments across broadcast and digital / interactive environments and experience of working in content involving or aimed at children and young people. You’ll also need experience of managing projects and productions from commission to completion.
