Digital Lead, BBC Children's In House Interactive
BBC Children’s In House Productions is the award-winning team based in Salford and Glasgow producing world class content across all genres and platforms for the BBC’s young audiences and their families.
Digital Lead, In House Interactive will provide strong leadership to the In House interactive team, leading with a clear vision, skillfully managing people and their development, motivating the team and leading on a portfolio of projects. You’ll collaborate to ensure all key In House brands are ambitiously supported to maximise audience reach across all platforms. This includes effective liaison with all key stakeholders; setting priorities; shaping development; cultivating external networks and contacts; ensuring workflows and systems are clear, simple and effective; developing diverse, multiplatform teams; sign off and compliance responsibilities.
You’ll be a key member of the In House Senior Team and the Children’s Leadership Group and will form collaborative and effective relationships across the department, including with the Head of Content, Head of Curation & Discovery, Head of Children’s D & E. You’ll work closely with the Head of Children’s In House Production and key senior stakeholders to develop the In-house interactive strengths and strategies still further, in line with the Kids 2020 strategy.

The successful applicant will be a creative leader with a proven interest, expertise and successful track record in creating engaging and inspiring content for our digitally native audience, from games to short form video, as well as experience and success in managing teams and steering projects involving multiple stakeholders.
