Digital Marketing Executive

Job Introduction

We are recruiting a Digital Marketing Executive to work across our portfolio of Factual Content brands including and not limited to BBC Earth. The role will assist with the production, planning and publishing of digital content across a range of digital touchpoints across websites, social media, newsletter and digital channels.

The role sits within the Brands Digital Marketing Team, working closely with marketing, licensing, production and press teams to help deliver a coherent and consistent social media experience for all audiences.

Role Responsibility

You will play a key part in helping shape digital content for our Factual Content brands, writing post copy and helping manage the digital publishing calendar. You will be using social platform tools for publishing and reporting and relevant photo/video editing software. You will also be involved in managing communities and conversations on social channels in-line with the agreed strategy.

A key part of this role involves ensuring all material and activity is of appropriate quality and complies with all relevant BBC & BBC Studios guidelines and procedures.

Are you the right candidate?

Ideally, you will have a background in building and engaging online communities with proven experience creating, scheduling and publishing content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and branded digital spaces. You will have a core passion for Factual Content, Science and Natural History TV shows.

Excellent attention to detail, copywriting and subbing skills are essential. You will have experience with photo and video editing software such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro and website Content Management Systems.
