Our Home Entertainment team is looking for a Production Coordinator - EMEA DVD  to manage all key client relationships within the EMEA region, ensuring licensees have all required assets in order to facilitate the timely release of the product to market. This role will suit someone who is looking to start their career in Home Entertainment and production management

BBC Studios UK Home Entertainment team is expanding to incorporate the European DVD business. This exciting role will liaise with our licensees mainly across France, Germany, and the Netherlands, ensuring our customers have the content information and programme assets they require for their territories. You will be working with some of BBC’s biggest brands across all genres from "Doctor Who" to "Perfect Planet", and responsible for ensuring our customers adhere to the BBC technical and editorial standards.

Role Responsibility

In this role, you will liaise with TV sales teams over new deals and pitch titles to clients. You will manage the day-to-day customer relationship across the EMEA territory including two major output deals in Germany and France, and all other clients.

You will run the EMEA release schedule within SharePoint, ensuring timely delivery to clients of scripts, synopses, dubs, subtitles, VAM, images, programme masters, DVD authoring, and sample ordering.

You will have responsibility for the DVD menu, artwork and disc approvals and manage invoicing for royalties, tech fees, and advances.

You will be responsible for informing third parties of relevant programme holdbacks in each territory.

You will liaise with the Senior Sales Manager on budgeting and forecasting. This will include briefing legal on new sales contracts, running profitability checks on new deals, and obtaining internal approvals and clearances.

Previous experience working in a media environment or a media-related qualification would be advantageous.
