Executive Personal Assistant

Job Introduction

BBC Studios are looking to recruit an Executive Assistant with a passion and understanding for Television. Previous experience or an understanding of working in a production environment is desirable. The role will provide a high-level of secretarial and administrative support for Managing Directors and the Directors of Production. The EA’s will act as first points of contact within Factual Entertainment and Entertainment genre; liaising extensively with internal and external stakeholders.

Role Responsibility

The position will be working within a fast-paced team liaising with senior managers, internal and external contacts, broadcasters and third parties. You will be responsible for managing complex diaries, arranging international travel, processing expenses and creating PowerPoint presentations; all whilst making sure your stakeholders are continually supported in their day to day .Also crucial to these roles is the planning and managing of the diary and business trips, facilitation of meetings and conferences, ensuring that key stakeholders are appropriately briefed and supported end- to- end. In addition to this, you will be required to minute senior confidential meetings.

Are you the right candidate?

You will be a highly organised EA, with demonstrable experience supporting an executive team. You will be highly personable when dealing with contacts on their behalf, building strong relationships and proactive in anticipating the needs of the business and prioritising accordingly. The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team is essential. You will be proactive in your approach and always be that one step ahead. We need someone that isn’t afraid to embrace technology and know who to approach with any technical issues to ensure the MDs and Directors and always able to work wherever they are.

In addition to this, an ideal candidate will have a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail. Additionally significant practical experience of gathering, reviewing and collating complex and confidential information. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
