We are looking for a motivated and organised person looking to build their skill set in providing the Chief Marketing Officer with a comprehensive, professional, well-organised administrative and overall office management support.

This exciting opportunity will have daily contact with members of the Studios Executive Board and their Assistants, and so a collaborative, approachable attitude is vital. You will build working relationships particularly with the Executive Board Members but also with the Director General’s office and other divisions across BBC Studios and the Public Service.

Role Responsibility

This role will be working in a fast-paced team, liaising with senior managers, internal and external contacts. Supporting the Director and leadership team will require you to be personable when dealing with contacts on their behalf, highly organised and proactive in anticipating their needs. Crucial to this role is the planning and managing national and international business trips whilst adhering policies and procedures, facilitation of meetings and conferences, supporting and organising consumer and customer events, ensuring a smooth process for both internal and external contacts and ensuring all relevant paperwork is available. Pivotal to the role would be your ability to prioritise, build and maintain strong working relationships and be flexible to change.


Are you the right candidate?

  • EA experience at Director / Board level ideally within a Marketing department
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to work autonomously, be pro-active and also work as part of a team
  •  Handling confidential and sensitive information with tact and diplomacy
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
