HR Business Partner - Leadership Development
The HR Business Partner will play an integral part in the management and delivery of service to the business. Responsible for supporting organization effectiveness by developing and implementing solutions aligned to strategy around talent, learning and leadership development.
The Leadership Development team is made up of specialist HRBPs who face off to a division to provide bespoke leadership and personal development solutions and also undertake OD and talent initiatives, often across the BBC. They create and implement department wide learning and development strategies and bespoke leadership interventions.
The team has ownership of pan BBC OD tools such as performance management, digital learning, succession planning and leadership development programmes. Collectively the team is responsible for developing our 2,300 managers and leaders to ensure that they are able to lead the BBC to meet its strategic ambitions and to make it an even greater place to work.
The Ideal Candidate
- Extensive experience of understanding and responding to challenging and/or complex leadership development needs. Working with local management teams to translate these into standard or bespoke impactful interventions.
- Organisational development experience in a complex organisation with multiple, senior stakeholders and matrix relationships
- Good knowledge of current thinking in HRM/talent development / leadership development.
- Experience of talent identification methods, training design, psychometrics and coaching.
