We have an exciting opportunity for an HRBP – Reward to join us (location flexible) on an FTC/Attachment until the end of November 2021. This role is based within the People Services department and is part of the BBC Reward Operations team, who provides expertise on all reward matters across the BBC using internal and external insight to develop a reward philosophy, reward strategy, policies and guidance.
The team provides expert advice and analysis to divisional HR teams and managers across the BBC and are responsible for ensuring successful implementation of BBC reward plans, appropriate governance of reward decisions and monitoring and measurement of reward services and objectives. The role receives general line management and direction from the Reward Senior HRBP.
As the HRBP for Reward you will use your internal and external insight and understanding of the BBC to develop reward frameworks, policies and tools that enable the BBC to be a world class organisation, an employer of choice and delivering value to the licence fee payer.
You will support the delivery of specific activities, including the approach and employee engagement for all areas of reward, remuneration benchmarking and management pay as well as pay audits. You will partner with Divisional HR to support specific business challenges around Reward and to provide your specialist expertise and advice to the divisional HR teams on all matters of pay, benefits, grading and job evaluation.
Utilising your data analysis expertise you will support strategic Reward decisions that enable the achievement of our organisational strategy.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking an experienced Reward specialist, with extensive relevant HR experience in Reward or Reward-related activity gained in large complex organisations with multiple stakeholders (including matrix relationships).
You’re an effective communicator, with the ability to explain complex principles in a simple way.
You have excellent analytical skills to identify and evaluate business risks and to identify and apply appropriate techniques to resolve them, and would be comfortable working with data to draw insights and conclusions.
