Junior Systems Engineer

Job Introduction

BBC Northern Ireland technology department are a key provider of technical services to all genres across BBC NI and network. They provide support for all of our in house broadcast and IT systems as well as providing support for proof of concept projects around the future of broadcast. They are also providing remote support for platform systems deployed across the whole BBC.

Role Responsibility

In this role you will be primarily responsible for the support, maintenance and deployment of the BBC’s Media Movement tools, these systems are key to the timely delivery of all of our broadcast programmes, both internal and external, to the BBC. In addition you will be responsible for the delivery of BBC media to other external on demand platforms.

The Ideal Candidate

As the ideal candidate for this role you will have experience managing, supporting and deploying complex computer networks. You will have a  knowledge and experience of media movement solutions such as Signiant and Aspera would be an advantage.
