Job Introduction

The New Broadcasting House Belfast (NBHB) Project Team is responsible for delivering the transformation of BBC Northern Ireland's headquarters. Following the announcement of £77million investment, this ambitious project will transform broadcasting house and create a technologically advanced broadcast centre that will serve future generations.

Reporting to the Project Manager the Management Accountant will play a key part within this landmark project.   

Role Responsibility

This newly created role provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute proactively to the delivery of the forecasting and budgeting processes of the project and to ensure effective short and long term financial planning.

You will be a key contact for reporting, producing high quality reports and building a detailed understanding of project’s finances. It will also be your responsibility to address ad hoc business queries/reporting/analysis.

Are you the right candidate?

As the ideal candidate, you will be an experienced accountant fully qualified in a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA). You will have 5 years PQE with a minimum of two projects with a duration of +12 months and with a budget of £1m+. Your ability to communicate effectively will be strong, presenting technical information in a clear and concise format to finance and non-finance people. As you will be working closely with various departments, you will build effective relationships by facilitating collaboration and putting a priority on delivering quality information.
