Marketing Coordinator (BBC Learning)
BBC Marketing & Audiences is now recruiting a Marketing Coordinator to join its BBC Learning team, based at MediaCity, Salford for a six month fixed-term contract.
Our BBC Learning team delivers strategic, creative and tactical marketing campaigns, including its flagship multi-platform brands BBC Bitesize, BBC Food, BBC Teach and BBC Live Lessons, across a range of platforms (online, social media, mobile, outreach etc.)
Audiences are at the heart of everything we do at the BBC, and ensuring that this remains so is the role of our M&A teams. The Marketing team, working with BBC Audiences, brings the outside in via research and insight and this forms the basis of our brand strategies, campaigns and audience engagement.
As Marketing Coordinator, you’ll work with the Marketing Manager in the delivery and evaluation of multi-media campaigns and marketing content for a variety of brands across the team.
You will work closely with the Production, Scheduling, Presentation and Digital teams to support the delivery of creatively outstanding and high quality campaigns that are on brand, on budget and on time. You will ensure the consistency of visual look, brand image, identity and communications messages across all media and platforms.
Are you the right candidate?
The successful individual will have a good understanding of the media / broadcast industry or a similar brand facing business.
This will be coupled with demonstrable knowledge and experience helping to deliver multi-media campaigns through to evaluation. In addition, you will have experience and passion for digital and social marketing, preferably with an understanding of digital evaluation metrics.
You will have a proven ability to drive creative innovation with evidenced creative achievements. Additionally, you will be a strong communicator with the ability to establish and manage stakeholder relationships. You will need to be self-motivated and extremely organised with a passion for innovative marketing techniques, but not afraid to ask for help when you need it.
Contract type: Continuing (permanent)
