The BBC are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to work across BBC One & BBC iPlayer. This is a permanent role based at New Broadcasting House in London.
We’re looking to recruit a passionate, motivated individual who will work on our entertainment and continuing drama campaigns helping us deliver our key business objective – reinventing the BBC for a new generation.
As a Marketing Coordinator for BBC One and iPlayer content, you will focus on BBC entertainment and continuing drama output. From The Apprentice to The Wheel, our entertainment campaigns reach a hugely diverse audience. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about our TV content and have the ability to ignite that same excitement among our younger and harder to reach audiences.
The Ideal Candidate
For this position, it is not essential to have extensive experience in marketing or in television. We want to find someone who can bring a unique outlook to the BBC, demonstrate a passion for TV, thinks differently and is excited about a career in marketing.
We want you to be passionate about TV, especially when it comes to entertainment titles. Do you feel excited at hearing the Strictly theme tune? Do you find yourself playing against The Wall? Do you love finding out which pitch gets an investment in Dragons Den? Then this could be the role for you. You need to be a team player, who is able to work with others across the business and take initiative when needed, but we don’t expect you to come with bags of experience. You will have an interest in marketing and opinions on what makes a great campaign, ambition and an eagerness to learn.
Our Marketing Coordinators are organised, efficient and have great written and verbal communication with good presentation skills. You must demonstrate an ability to meet targets and deadlines whilst managing multiple projects at the same time.
