Marketing Coordinator (BBC Three)
Marketing and Audiences are looking for a Marketing Coordinator for a permanent contract based at Television Centre, London. In this role, you will work on integrated marketing campaigns for BBC Three.
Audiences are at heart of everything we do at the BBC and ensuring that this remains so is the role of our Marketing and Audiences team. Audiences bring the outside in via research and insights; Marketing takes the inside out via brand strategies, campaigns and audience engagement. Marketing & Audiences as a whole help shape new product development, commissioning strategies, and editorial propositions thus delivering a consistent and compelling Brand and Marketing Strategy across the BBC.
The marketing coordinator will support the wider team by working into managers and executives to deliver campaigns that help redefine the ways in which audiences engage with the BBC.
You will work on campaigns, both bold and brilliant, which will appeal to BBC Three audiences. You will be passionate about BBC content and BBC Three especially and possess an ability to ignite that same excitement among our lighter and harder to reach audiences. Working on youth brands, you will be expected to reach young audiences in new ways, blurring the lines between editorial, social and marketing and constantly striving to bring innovation to everything we do.
Are you the right candidate?
The successful individual will have a good understanding of the media / broadcast industry or a similar brand facing business.
This will be coupled with demonstrable knowledge and experience helping to deliver multi-media campaigns through to evaluation. In addition, you will have experience and passion for digital and social marketing, preferably with an understanding of digital evaluation metrics.
You will have a proven ability to drive creative innovation with evidenced creative achievements. Additionally, you will be a strong communicator with the ability to establish and manage stakeholder relationships. You will need to be self-motivated and extremely organised with a passion for innovative marketing techniques, but not afraid to ask for help when you need it.
