We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team, initially on a six month FTC/attachment.
As a Marketing Executive, you will report into the Marketing Manager and will be part of a wider team of five. The team cover Channels and TV sales and are responsible for consumer and trade marketing for the BBC branded services across Western Europe, ultimately supporting the Marketing Manager to deliver end-to-end marketing campaigns via social media platforms. The aim is to help build ratings, grow subscriptions to the services and develop our brands.
Provide operational and administrative support in implementing consumer and trade campaigns for the BBC branded services, including the execution of B2B and B2C events in market.
Run the social media presence in Benelux and Nordics, in line with consumer strategy, devise a plan to build fans and engagement, approve posting plans, source assets, continually align with changing company policies, and manage social media agencies in markets.
Be an expert on local audiences, fans, customers/buyers, partners and opinion formers, and advise on how we engage these customers to the Marketing Manager.
Oversee the websites in Benelux and Nordics and work closely with the central digital team.
Working with the central marketing team to manage the production, stock and distribution of premiums and merchandise, ensuring adherence to BBC guidelines for fair trading sourcing and policy.
Work on trade presentations on an ad hoc basis, collating research data, programming information, promo reels, screeners and campaign examples for the commercial team’s needs.
Raise POs and track budgets as requested by the Marketing Manager and the Head of Marketing.
The Ideal Candidate
Be an experienced Marketing professional, with exemplary relationship building skills
Exposure to an agency environment or a role where you are managing clients, suppliers, partners would be advantageous
Good understanding of the TV industry, both channels and content sales
Confident working in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment
Have an adaptable and receptive approach to change in the workplace
Excellent planning and organisation skills, with a keen eye for detail
