National Account Manager
BBC Studios is currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager to join the team based in London on a 9 month FTC.
As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving and executing a business plan with both existing and new digital EST accounts to achieve sales and margin targets through developing retail relationships and identifying opportunities to grow our direct business.
You will be responsible, with the Sales Manager, for planning and agreeing on digital EST strategy, and will be the primary contact for selected accounts. You will display great commercial acumen and attention to detail in planning and delivering activity, and will be responsible for securing a commitment from both the accounts and key personnel across consumer products; this includes responsibility for any negotiation of commercial terms, product support, and promotional activity.
Collaborate with digital customers and internal departments to develop and execute a joint business plan.
Presentation and selling in of new release products and campaign plans.
Managing all aspects of BBC Studio's relationship with its customers across Sales, Finance, Marketing and Operations
Negotiation of onsite space, campaign pricing, and marketing in line with agreed targets.
Create financial year account plans for customers and conduct quarterly reviews.
Generate and pitch ideas and campaign plans for accounts managed.
Reporting to Sales Manager and Home Entertainment Director with regular account performance and results.
Attend Sales, Marketing and other internal meetings as required.
Are you the right candidate?
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role where you have previously managed the relationship with digital customers. You will be an excellent negotiator with experience in producing & delivering strategic business plans to retail accounts. Knowledge of product development and the licensed product market is essential. You will have excellent communication skills, and have experience or a general interest within media.
