Production Coordinator, BBC Africa
BBC Africa reaches a weekly audience of more than 90 million across Radio, TV, Digital and Social Media making it the largest international broadcaster in Africa. The World 2020 programme aims to increase the impact and reach of BBC World Service through new TV and digital content for African in the following genres – Investigations, Business, Children’s News, Sport, Technology, Satire and Women’s Affairs.
We are now looking for a talented Production coordinator to join the team in Lagos.
Reporting to the Production Managers in London, as Production coordinator you provide logistical and coordination support to the production team on a portfolio of content.
You will oversee the production cycle through to delivery; some of your duties will include scheduling, processing film permits and visas, booking studios and crews and monitoring expenditure.
Are you the right candidate?
The successful candidate must have demonstrable experience of a coordinating role within a production team. Good working knowledge of end to end multi-platform production with a level of technical awareness is a must, as is the ability to use and advise on production systems.
Finally, you will demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills and the ability to manage conflicting demands to meet deadlines.
Candidates will need to have the right to work in Nigeria.
