Production Co-ordinators, BBC Education

We are looking for two experienced Production Coordinators to join the BBC Education Campaigns team.
We are looking for two Production Coordinators, each to work on one of our high-profile educational campaigns. You will play a key role in the coordination and planning of any in-house filming, as well as assisting with live events/ activities, ensuring all consents are obtained, creating callsheets, and coordinating logistics and travel.
You will also be involved in the co-ordination of commissioned content; assisting the production manager with briefs and contracts and overseeing deliveries, ensuring all content and paperwork is completed to deadline via Silvermouse. Some of this work may also require complex clearances and close working with Business Affairs.
You will additionally work alongside the online team, managing the digital team’s spend and working with the team to ensure they have obtained all the necessary consents and clearances.
You will also of course work closely with the Production Manager, assisting with cost reporting and budget reconciliation, as well as managing some sections of the budget, processing invoices, generating purchase orders and managing expenses.
Finally, you will also act as a key point of contact and problem solver for the production team.
Are you the right candidate?
You will have previously worked in a fast-paced production environment, and have experience of delivering a range of/elements of productions on time and on budget and coordinating deliverables for production.
You will have a good working knowledge of end-to-end multi-platform production with an understanding of the technology used on productions.
You will be adaptable in working to deadlines while producing work to a high standard, have excellent communication skills, and an ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
You will have a first-class knowledge of production management systems and processes and the ability to develop new ones where necessary.
You will have the ability to remain calm, organised and focused under pressure and have excellent influencing, persuading and problem solving skills.
You should also naturally have an interest in BBC Education’s output and our educational campaigns.
Contract type: 1 x fixed-term contract / attachment to end of Feb 2020
