Project Coordinator, Central Square Programme

Later this year BBC Cymru Wales will be relocating to a new purpose-built broadcast headquarters in Central Square, which will be delivered by the Central Square Programme.  We are now looking for a Project Coordinator to work alongside the Programme Office Manager and the Programme Team in helping to deliver this Transformational Change Programme in BBC Wales.

Role Responsibility

The purpose of the Project Coordinator is to coordinate and deliver supporting activities within the project, programme, or PMO, including resources, communications, collaboration, data collection and analysis. 

Reporting to the Programme Office Manager, will need to have experience in complex programmes with multiple projects, managing dependencies, issues and risks. Previous experience of working with both internal and external suppliers.

Reporting to the Programme Office Manager, will need to have experience in complex programmes with multiple projects, managing dependencies, issues and risks. Previous experience of working with both internal and external suppliers.

The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of project management principals, incl risk management, change control and benefits management. Working knowledge of planning tools i.e. MS Project/ Project Tracker, and flexibility to assist other workstreams during busy periods are also essential for this role.
