The New Broadcasting House Belfast (NBHB) Project Team is responsible for delivering the transformation of BBC Northern Ireland's headquarters. The NBHB project is a strategic initiative that will be led by BBC NI and delivered in partnership with BBC Workplace and BBC Design & Engineering Divisions.
This is an ambitious project which will create a technologically advanced broadcast centre that connects with our audience in new ways and serves future generations.
We are now seeking a skilful project manager to support this major, long term project which will require significant investment.
Reporting into the Programme Delivery Manager and working alongside the PMO your experience will reflect your responsibilities:
- Working in a complex and transformational project environment.
- Manage project plans, monitor and maintain an overall programme plan on this complex project.
- Monitor and maintain an overall programme resource plan, including the deployment and management of those resources to meet the most effective project need.
- Maintaining a detailed Project Management Plan
- Report on a multifaceted project process to ensure timely, accurate and tailored reporting - including benefits, schedule and financial status.
Are you the right candidate?
Our Ideal Candidate will have the ability to manage and monitor the project plan to ensure successful completion of the plan activities and delivery of the project on schedule.
You will have the skills to define the content/format of and prepare the various achievement reports to be distributed on an agreed timeframe, embracing the detail, but with the ability to present it in a concise and summarised way.
Establishing, implementing and management of processes and procedures covering configuration management, including Change Control, Risk and Issues Management, Documentation Management and Product Assurance, and the experience to establish and implement a team culture within his/her assigned project.
