Job Introduction

BBC Studios Entertainment & Music, home to some of the UK’s biggest and most loved entertainment and music shows including Strictly Come DancingWeakest Link and Eurovision is currently looking for exceptional candidates for our Senior Development Talent Pool.  Successful applicants will become part of the pool from which individuals will be recruited to join our busy, commercially minded London development team, which creates content for and pitches to a wide range of platforms from SVODs and social media to ALL UK broadcasters.

Ideal candidates will be Development Executive or Senior Development Producer level, and have the ideas and ambition to create the next generation of genre defining, returnable brands. You will thrive on coming up with new ideas and be able to lead on a project from initial concept through to completion, and deliver fully worked up professional treatments and supporting materials. You will be expected to run slates and pitch ideas to broadcasters, so existing commissioner relationships would be helpful. Proven experience of developing and/or producing reality shows would be a bonus. Experience working with on-screen talent would also be an advantage. Above all you must have a passion for TV and creating great content.
