Senior Project Manager - Business & Legal Affairs

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering change in the Talent Accounting and Rights department, which is responsible for contributor rights contractual clearances and royalty payments of circa £138m pa to talent, indies and other third party profit participants.
This role is an exciting opportunity to deliver both system and process changes in this complex and dynamic area. Although this role does not have any direct reports, management of project resources may be required for some projects.
You will ensure the delivery of projects within budget, time and quality expectations. This will involve the identification of solutions and mitigations for project risks and issues, ensuring the appropriate measures are approved and implemented as required. All projects will be delivered in compliance with BBC Studios PMO governance processes, including the distribution of project documentation in a timely manner.
You will also produce analysis to support proposed solutions, which evaluate the financial and non-financial benefits of solutions.
In addition to the project management responsibilities, you will also assist the Talent Accounting and Rights operational teams in the identification of solutions to business issues and constraints. This may require the production of process and business requirement documentation.
Are you the right candidate?
Ideally, a good understanding of royalty processes and some contributor rights knowledge will supplement your project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills would be beneficial. As a key component of this role is problem solving, you will have the ability to distil complex issues into coherent project deliverables. You will be highly organised with strong planning skills coupled with some project management experience.
