Role Responsibility

How do we work?
We are an agile team and we do releases almost every day. We support this by making sure our testing is robust and that our pipelines are steadfast. We monitor our systems in production to understand the impact of change every time we do a release.
We work in multi-discipline crews with Software Engineers, Testers, Product Owners, and Delivery, in a respectful and collaborative environment. We encourage a culture of team empowerment that supports self-development for each individual.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Able to tailor testing through appropriate use of historical test data and available technologies to achieve better coverage.
  • You will be able to communicate, learn and work with stakeholders with varying skills, knowledge and technical abilities.
  • Able to collaborate within a close knit team and other teams across the department
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast changing environment flexing between multiple concurrent activities
  • Good attention to detail and a consistent approach to testing
  • Clear & accurate defect reporting.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Good verbal & written communication and willing to engage with external partners
  • Experience across all levels of testing such as regression, smoke, performance etc., 
  • Experience planning, prioritising, reporting and summarising test activities
  • Able to regularly review testing processes and suggest innovative improvements.
  • Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail. 
  • Willing to learn new technologies, skills etc.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of broadcast TV technologies
  • Knowledge of video streaming technologies
  • Experience testing the User Experience on consumer devices
  • Experience with GitHub or similar
