Are you passionate about the car industry? Experienced at working with consumer facing brands? We are looking for a talented Web Producer to join the UK Publishing team for Top Gear - one of BBC Studios’ best known brands.
As Web Producer, you will be responsible for managing the flow of editorial content into TopGear.com’s content management system and uploading content from the wider Top Gear editorial team.

Maintain and update the evergreen features
Upload content from the wider Top Gear editorial team
Assist with forward-planning content that already exists in the TG ecosystem
Conceive and produce digital content
Upload content on a daily basis from internal and external writers
Source, edit and upload imagery and links into stories
Assist in the proofreading of content scheduled for publishing
Assist in the forward-planning of digital projects
Work closely with the editor, SEO and social media teams to monitor trends and generate content ideas
Write online news and features as required by the editor
The Ideal Candidate
This role primarily entails uploading content to a CMS, editing images, writing and proof reading – a solid background in these areas would be advantageous.
You will need to be proactive, efficient and willing to help the wider TopGear.com team to organise web content.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of content management systems, photo editing software and analytics software. A proven track record of writing online news and features is essential, as well as strong knowledge of the car industry.
Ideally you will have an understanding and knowledge of the Top Gear brand.
